Literally same positioning.
I will cautiously call bull on this
it's real, posted by the official survarium twitter
Well, I do hope that if they (are allowed to) keep the Gauss Gun(Or Item 62, if you will), they'll do a little touch-up on the looks of it. Maybe even not leave the coils completely exposed.
I did wonder always whether it's safe at all to grip it so close to the coils with all the electricity and all.
Considering how some of the high level armors look already, a gauss rifle wouldn't suprise me much.
It does desperately need a new model/texture, though.

Was about to say that myself, I mean you see the quality of some of the assets in that game and they look well made.. Using that model would break consistency, also that model is just like cancer.
Survarium 0.25 is online in early testing. Clans, 9x39 guns and modified weapon modification (stats changing roulette thingy, it's kinda like the stalker weapon modification in that it's stats only) is in.
AS VAL, 9A-91, VSK-94 (with scope), SR-2M and UMP45.

I like it, makes the base camp feel really cozy.
I want to at-least see bullet holes on the people and creatures we shoot.
Just a little touch that would add a lot more immersion/gameplay.
At-least for me anyway.
Can't believe so much games are forgetting this ( on purpose ? ) when it add so fucking much to immersion.

Now it only needs some casual eggheads doing what they do best: slack around completely useless and smoke four packs a day while inside the bunker.

Funny thing is, it really doesn't take THAT much to create an immersive game. All you have to do is keep the amount of interrupting cutscenes to an extreme minimum, give the player enough freedom to explore the world and the mechanics and pay attention to small details, which can heavily improve authenticity. It also works best when your character is silent, as spoken dialogue often can disrupt the player's identification with the character. Apart from adding a lot of detail, all those aspects are really easy to realize, I wonder why not more developers are going into this direction.
pls don't use gameworks
people with amd cards want to be able to play with a decent framerate

Oh hey there Lost Alpha

COP did the model nice I think. Didn't they even add a jiggle-bone to that one wire that hangs off the left side?

Nah, it was just an animated bit.
Alright. So this game is pretty excellent. After learning that am I just a mere man among men, unlike other FPS' playing the game properly has been fun (In a nerve frying kind of way.)
I just delved into the basement for the "X-18" documents and I don't think I've been more scared in a video game before. I swear I've had nightmares about that kind of environment.

Well, if Gum was here, we could probably get the Gauss Gun turned sideways so you can shoot it like a real man. We can have that at least.

that's pretty sweet, would have worked really well with the 'still running' Yantar base we were going to do for WotW
Anyone have a link to that STALKER CoP weapon pack? I looked through a couple of pages but didn't find it. It's the one that was in russian and someone here was translating it.
Also how would I merge it with like Atmosfere and some other mod? (Cant remember the other one that people often use, absolute nature or something? )

I'm right here.
I did absolutely no animating when I fixed the aim-down-sights positioning on all those weapons, or twisting the gun sideways. Just fucking around with values in a .cfg file.(With the help of a real-time editing tool I found on the internet.)
PS. Shut up, I know you're joking.
I think.

I am, it's almost done!

Yours were probably the only mods I willingly downloaded. People always mention atmosphere, but what's more atmospheric than having something like that?

does it replace the music with the entirety of NWA's Straight Outta Compton? that'd be a good starting point
Guess how bad it sucks to have missed this years S.T.A.L.K.E.R. airsoft game. :v:

I bet Gum can do it if he put his mind to it. I'd do it if I knew a damn thing about modding or even editing basic ass text files to get a decent result.
Gonna play through the series for first time seriously, played bits of SoC and CS before in the past, but want to play it properly now, I think I gave up when I had to cross into the Cordon in CS and I kept getting machine gunned constantly.
Apparently I should be playing on the highest difficulty (increased overall damage) and without a crosshair (realism), is this a good idea?
I know how to do it, just like probably 75% of the regulars in this thread, but sadly for you, I rolled 1 for initiative.
