Guys, I need help(as alyways) When I install Arsenal Overhaul 2.3 plus Pripyat Reborn addon, some of the text is in polish (Like tips, dialoge with npc's, stats for items, mission names and objectives...) Is there any way to change language or something? :s
It hurts me that, whilst looking at these videos, I thought:"These could've made it into LURK" :'(

I was playing Misery. Got to Pripyat. Out of the tunnels. Chimera. Pseudogiant. Two controllers were there when I got out to greet me.

Seriously giant spiders as an enemy are already horribly bland and boring but when you've got arachnophobia it's just the absolute worst. Dark Messiah has struck a very strong love hate relationship with me for this reason.

This might be an issue that's already been resolved, but I recently rebought CoP on the GoG sale and found that nobody has any money. I'm in the second area now and have around 100kg of enemy equipment and nobody to sell it to.
Ugh, of course SoC goes on sale a week after I throw down $20 on it, oh well, money well spent.

For some reason I love all of the mutants that MISERY throws at you. It makes it feel good when you kill all of them, and it makes me prepare carefully for everything. I like finding what loadout works best for a situation. I usually end up using some memorable tactics to overcome some pretty stacked odds, like using a pickup truck as cover from bloodsuckers, controllers, and poltergeists. call me masochistic

Imo.[/QUOTE] Use other mods to make it playable? 6 years of development well spent. Dezo promised to bring us that one unique Zone from alpha builds. What we got in the end - a very generic stadalone SoC mod with cringe worthy writing and almost nearly killed exploration. Opinions. Some people like it, some don't. I struggle to see anything good in it after playing Secret Trails 2 and Lost World: Troops of Doom.

There are definitely great moments in Lost Alpha, but the missions around mid-game just suck all the fun out of it, because they barely contain any shooting and are just fetch quests in a world that doesn't seem to have any illusion of being dynamic in terms of how NPC movements go. -You can't sequence break in Lost Alpha like you can in SoC/CoP -You'll have to watch all the dumb in-game cutscenes that only serve to increase tedium and even break the gameplay in some places so it's not a good game to permadeath run in -Player strategy is irrelevant : you'll get handed all the relevant guns without having to contribute yourself even slightly, not that you'd even need them a lot of the time seeing as many quests are just simple fetchquests without any shooting anyway. -Little-to-no human A-Life activity in many areas, making backtracking ultra boring when you don't have any intelligent opponents to shoot at. There are a lot of mutants, though. did lost world: troops of doom ever get an english translation of any kind? also i did try LWO once but i couldn't play it because all i got was a yellow mass of nothingness on my screen, sans the hud. what went awry?

Is that over the years it was overhyped to all loving hell and there was no way it could live up to it. Plus upon release it was an absolute mess. Plus the story cutscenes were...painful and unneeded. A lot of the story later in was fucking stupid. Full of Illuminati rubbish etc. And the first part of the game consisted of. Run across the world for 20mins, talking a person for 5 seconds, then run all the way back. Worth a play. But by no means amazing or groundbreaking.
