There are a lot of mutants, though. [/QUOTE] Well if nothing else, it's a testament as to why the vanilla game turned out the way it did. I can't wait for OGSE's 6.9.3 take on dead city, though. Haven't gotten around to seeing stalkersoup's take on it. Honestly, the same human A-Life seems to be a problem for Stalkersoup too, or at least for me. I thought I read somewhere that a-life isn't really supposed to kick in until either you complete the main questline (and get the good ending) and start the collector, or at least until you shut off the brain scorcher. Is that right? That, and I'm still trying to figure out who offers the best prices for what in stalkersoup, and how to make a lot of money. I know in OGSE you make the most cash by artifact and animal hunting while gunrunning really isn't that profitable (unless you're dealing with monolith weapons), though in Stalkersoup it seems to be the reverse: Animal parts are near worthless, and artifacts are not much better. Meanwhile guns sell for a lot more (plus unlike OGSE I don't need to carry around a huge honking mg42 just to have any sort of chance against the mutants. In fact, I find that in most cases a Saigia sniper with some buck/tungston is all that's ever really needed. I don't even really have much use for Darts/Slugs.) Seems logical to me that modders would take LA as a base and use Dez's SDK to take things to new heights. Unfortunately it seems it would take years. Everyone is more interested in expressing their own opinions as to what would be "perfect" rather than trying to achieve a consensus in order to move forward.

Had the weirdest stalker dream. I was a bloodsucker, so was everyone else. It was a zone full of bloodsuckers, every npc was one. Hence there were no fights or killing, everyone was chilling around. But something was strange, noone was making any sounds. Only bloodsucker making some noise was me, and so everyone was always looking at me and listening to me (with their bloodsucker faces). So i wandered around the zone a little, collected some weapons and ammo, while everyone else was looking directly at me. Then i found a bloodsucker driving a truck, and then Sidorovich started talking to me in my head, he said "You have to go to Pripyat, you know it is your mission". So i hopped in the truck and we drove for a while and a loading screen appeared, then i woke up. I mean wtf...

shoker mod is pretty close, but not nearly as good as gunslinger's attention to detail

Ok I know I asked this before, but didn't get an answer. Can somebody point me to, or make a reference/guide list of those crazy russian mods? Like, those that are released and what they do (or what do they break) etc etc. I need my russian daily fix and after AMK and OGSE I need more

CoP - SGM But I warn you - there is no way back once you go full Russian.
Just curious, but is Doom's Mod Merge (or DMM:AE) still being worked on, or is it pretty much finalized by now?
Best mod(s) for Clear Sky? Preferably ones that make the game pretty and adds weapons.

Im going to sell my sunrise and sphere-08 for a SP-99M and some additional armor modules. The way I see it, it is a much better multipurpose suit. Its durability isnt much less than the sunrise suit, and the sunrise and sphere together are about 13kg, wheras the SP-99M with two aluminum rigs is under 10kg with comparable durability and anomaly protection that is miles ahead. Add on some steel plates which fixes the armor problem mostly and I still have two slots for whatever I want. The only downside is probably the head armor which isnt as much as the sphere, but its still level III which is good enough for the most common guns. It also looks p. cool and will fit in when I set up my base of operations in the ecologists bunker.

Wow the new suit proved itself as a p. damn good multipurpose suit right away. I decided to go through the space anomaly at the burnt farmstead, got the helicopter, then went to grab a few artifacts at the circus anomaly after killing the poltergeist. While I was in the middle of the anomaly apparently a bandit squad crested the hill and saw me, so I ended up fighting off a bandit squad while surrounded by fire anomalies. The suit lost like 1 bar of condition which was p. good, and it handled the bandits weapons well.
