is there any mods for COP that fix the thing where if you're in third person your gun shoots where you were last aimed in first person.

DMM(at least regular,don't know about AE) uses L.U.R.K gunplay mechanics so weapons are generally really accurate, but they have a lot of recoil.

I didn't record it the first time, but the guy wasn't at the counter, I hear "I'll be right with you" Then he pops up and shoots me in the face and I died.
Oh man, AO 2.4 seems to increase spawns of a lot of NPC/mutants. On top of that the stash contents seem to be changed, and I have the hostile bandit addon too so this should be a pretty dangerous CoP.
AO 2.4 has some really great sounds that enhance the firefights. And fuck I can't imagine having to use the FOV switcher again, FOV console command is just too damn convienent.
Also as an aside, playing AA 2.1 for ShoC and for some reason the suits no longer change your arm texture :(

It doesn't remove the vanilla problem of non-respawning strongholds though. Once you pop the bandit/merc bases in Zaton or Yanov they become ghosttowns.
Kinda wish someone would try to merge it with MSO... but maybe that upcoming Pripyat Reborn merge will do just that? (Not sure if it does. Seems to be on the same vein as MSO, but not sure if it includes base respawns.)

... There really needs to be a timer or something on these Alpha Squads (SGM 2.1 Integrated). Because this is [U]ridiculous[/U].
Basically, I went to the bandit base to do the mission for sword (had to go in the back way though due to two alpha squads on the road). Thought I could eliminate and loot the bandit base before that, but noooooo. Alpha squads popped right in. And after they'd died, more spawned right outside.
One hell of a battle, between the bandits and the alpha squaddies. Honestly think I bagged more Alphas than I did bandits (and there's like 15 bandits in the whole base, counting the commander who takes more bullets than the Alphas even)
Thank god for that little cubby in the corner. And shotgun (had 100 rounds when I started, and I was down to about 17 when I finished, had to use a quikcly looted AK-74 for the remainder of them.
And just as a final kicker, I get back to the Skadovsk (after seeing the guys that were supposed to help me run up the road because I'd taken the back way in. Way to help out with the bandits, guize :rolleyes:) to sell all the loot (I had to stash a lot of it). Sell a buttload, look out the back...

In all seriousness though, As rediculous as this is, I do love the alpha squad feature, and really start to miss it in other mods (AO 2.4, Shoker, etc.)

We have plans to release the raw level data. As for script changes, probably not. The only script changes that would benefit any mod, even existing mods, are the new gulag/smart_terrain changes. It cuts loading time down, increases FPS and lowers memory usage. Maybe I will rip that out, at some point, and create a standalone with it.

That sounds great, as CoP's loading times can be a bitch for me sometimes compared to CS or ShoC
The cycle of MISERY continues. Get to yanov, do some missions, get some dosh, look into new weapons, wish I had a different loadout in general, start new game.
Going to do a recon playthrough, never really played recon, and I wanted the SMGs but I never really could use them because I played sniper.
