Are those revolvers you released on the FNV Nexus going to be in LURK?
At least partially
We need revolver anims first tho
So I was playing SOC and I quicksaved inside of a pipe and got killed. Now when I load the save I am standing up, and I'm stuck in the pipe with no apparent way out. Is there a way to solve this problem?

What problem? You have become one with the pipe.
That's progress.

If you go to STALKER "Shadow of Chernobyl\gamedata\config\creatures\actor.ltx" and fiddle with the values in
ph_box0_center = 0.0, 0.9, 0.0
ph_box0_size = 0.35, 0.9, 0.35
ph_box1_center = 0.0, 0.75, 0.0
you should be able to make yourself small enough to get through, although I can't remember specifically what you have to modify.

I think the real problem here is that you do not like the pipe.

Have you tried talking to the pipe, it might strengthen your friendship.
Hmm, I couldn't get that actor.ltx method working, but I probably wasn't doing it correctly. Looks like I'll have to load an earlier save or live the rest of my days as a horrifying man-pipe hybrid, stuck in the tunnel with only an anomaly to listen to my problems.

That actually sounds like something the wish granter would do :v:
is lost alpha/Redux 2/LURK 2/Tasarov's next book out yet?

Found this a while ago, hope it helps.

Guys can anyone help me get this working?
http://www.moddb.com/mods/photo-realistic-zone-2
Downloaded it yesterday but I can't for the life of me get it to work. Tried all the usual steps but it seems to do nothing. :(
I'm about to do the quest near the start of SHoC where you have to break into the institute and get the briefcase. I remember doing it before, and it was a huge hassle and I kept dying. Any tips or tactics that would make it easier?

Don't get stuck to fighting people in the open ; the soldiers are scattered throughout the base and can easily flank you. Either bolt straight to the main building and only kill those that you have to, leaving the building via the ladder on the roof and exiting the base through a hole in the perimeter fence in the backyard of the main building or fortify inside a barracks building if your intention is to clear out everyone before moving on.

Anyone who doesn't slaughter every soldier is a weak non-monolithian
Whenever you have to do that mission:
Look for bushes.
Take it slow, but steady. Eleminate your enemies one by one.
Have at least an AKS-74U.
If you really need it, equip at least a Merc suit and above.
I cleared out that base with a Mosin, a AK-74, no armour and a bug that had made medkits stop working.

You can easily have two merc suits by that point, and an Abakan from the soldiers attacking mole's group at the factory, too.

kinda stuck right now... playing call of pripyat, i reached the main mission where i need to investigate jupiter quimicals central
the thing is i have NO idea how i get inside, its all covered up in fences and stuff
i do found 2 precious artifacts tho
There's nothing like playing SoC with AMK and getting a blowout in the middle of the Red Forest.
I'm just going to reload my autosave and wait for a bit. Shit's terrifying.

You mean Jupiter Plant?
You can get in through a gate not far from the Bitumen Anomaly.
I drew a grumpy stalker

I asked a few pages back, but does anybody know if there's any mods/tweaks for TFW that enable you to play as the Monolith? I believe that making Monolith/the Military playable factions would be wonderful.
Welp, finally, after three years, I've beat Stalker call of Prypiat. No mods.
Do I get a medal or something?

I did this mission on master difficulti about 2 days ago. Basically 1 shot of an AK was able to kill me instantly.
Took me about 50 saves until I killed everyone.
I did it, by camping in one of the houses, and kill one enemy at the time.
Just make sure to do enough saves.

Since it took 3 years, I guess we can give you a medal for slowest playthrough.

THIS.
Or just follow these steps. By all means it's long, but when you are in game it's really fast and success is 100% guaranteed:
-As soon as you get out of the underground, face the other direction in which there is no tower (You start near a corner with a tower) and run straight for the checkpoint (NOT THE ONE FULL OF SOLDIERS)
-As you get near the checkpoint, there will be a broken section of a wall to your left. Go through it. To guide yourself, there will be a empty tower in that section/yard.
-From there, try to get to the back of the institute. Where all the APC/Cars are parked. There will be one those....errr..."wheel" things....Jesus, I dont know how its called in english. Well, you see, this..."thing" will be next to the windows. The point is that you can jump on this, and from there, go straight into the institute through one of the windows.
-Rush it for the briefcase upstairs wtfpawning every soldier (usually, at this point, they will alerted, but there will be only 3-4 in the institute).
-As soon as you grab it, go back from where you came from. Jump outside again through the same spot/window.
-When you are outside, face left. There will be a tower. Next to this tower, at the right, there will be a broken section of the perimeter wall. Exit through here.
-Now, watch your step, as this place is packed with anomalies/radiation. Usually you might have got info for a stash that is inside a safe (This is: To your right as soon as you get out).
-From here on, you just have to avoid the soldiers who are outside. They won't be a threat, provided you have enough ammo left.
-Proceed to garbage. SUCCESS.
This done in LURK at night is just awesome, as they can't really see you/hear you.
EDIT: Anyone remembers why GSC didn't implement crawling in the game? I recall I read somewhere the explanation...but I just can't remember it.
Heya, thought I'd introduce myself to you guys by letting you know that I've been to The Zone and the details are here, including a link to the thread where I talk through my journey and a .rar of the 84 pictures I've uploaded. I've clocked all the games vanilla, plus SGM, AMK, ZoA (1.5), OGSM/E, LURK (1.05), and I'm currently on my first Soup playthrough. I tried Misery but it didn't take, and although version 2 might be good I'm not holding my breath. I'm currently running 3 installations: Soup on my steam install of SoC, DOOM's Mod Merge on my CD install of SoC, and vanilla CoP whilst I wait for Misery 2.0 whilst debating whether to just give up and install Swartz instead.
My favourite "Named" characters are Master, Sparrow, and Charon, my favourite weapon loadout is SVD/Kora, and my favourite areas are Dark Valley or Limansk for stories and either Pripyat locale for nostalgia. I've also got based bros at the hangar nearest the bar and the "bus stop" opposite Seriy's hangar. I've got two copies of Roadside Pinic, one of which came to The Zone and back with me, and the Tarkovsky film was my favourite film ere the games even existed...oh, and no prizes for guess my favourite faction ;)
Anywho, glad to be here, looking forward to the stories, and моноліт4життя!
