Hey thread, been playing vanilla ShoC for a while and I really enjoy it. However after seeing mods like gunslinger and whatnot showcased here I can't help but hunger for something fresh. I've never dealt with stalker mods before, but could anybody recommend a ShoC mod that revitalizes gun play and generally improves the look and feel of the guns? Seems like Lurk promises to do just this but I would like some input from more experienced stalkers before I (attempt to) install it.

Can somebody please walk me through installing dooms mod merge 0.7 for ShoC? Do I need to downgrade to 1.0004?

I think a STALKER with vehicles would be pretty rad. I just hope they make most of the vehicles be made from old Ladas and stuff like that since that's probably most of the cars that would be around there as pretty much everyone drove Ladas at the time when the Chernobyl disaster happened.
