Once again they are trying to use S.T.A.L.K.E.R. to get them funding instead of showing they even have the slightest idea about how to make a game. They've supposedly abandoned Areal despite taking some money for it and have decided to make a different game, or at the very least have just renamed Areal, which seems more likely considering all the concept art from it.

I don't think that's a bad thing at all. I loved Hard Truck Apocalypse and imo vehicles like that would mesh in very well with a S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-like as long as it's out of the already-established universe that GSC did.

This might sound weird, but a little part of me is kinda glad stalker never got it's story continued.
A lot of things in the game aren't explained, and they still all have this mysterious feelings to them. I mean there is info about stuff like the brain scorcher and shit but its small enough that even replaying it things feel just as ominous and mysterious as they did the first time, even though you know what happens.
If they had a sequel that explained more shit it could've been done in a way that lessens the mysteriousness and makes the zone less interesting as a character.
That being said I still do want more STALKER. We have mods sure, but we didn't get nearly enough (IMO) officially.

Yeah, but imagine all of the NEW mysteries that we would have had. And if I recall, STALKER 2 was going to be a completely new storyline, new characters, and a different part of the ever-expanding Zone.

Also, what the hell. Everything in this video is amazingly low poly, it's like they slammed a 10 minute level together with shitty assets and made a trailer. I'm getting more annoyed by it with the second.
