Just something altering spawns should do it.

I'm trying so hard to enjoy CoP but the stuttering just ruins the whole thing for me.

But if that's too good to be true I'll just keep going vanilla.

But if that's too good to be true I'll just keep going vanilla.[/QUOTE] I recently completed a CoP playthrough with MSO and I had several quests function badly because of that mod (script requires NPCs to arrive at a certain destination, they never will because random new spawns and the A.I schemes distract them) ,also some people have reported that a key item required to complete the game never spawns although it spawned for me. For free-roaming gameplay for a second playthrough, M.S.O. is great, though. I spent a whole year on the M.S.O playthrough because it made going on raids in the Zone and living the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. life so fun but it has quest breaking issues as well as some stability issues occasionally.

is there a mod that makes quicksaving write a unique save file every time instead of just overwriting the designated quicksave save? having to go into the main menu and manually save and write a name and shit is way too tedious and fucks with the immersion.

Makes a hardsave without going to the main menu.

I'm tempted to replace the old AI Tweaks in MSO with Pripyat Reborn, but considering the pain in the arse it was with my aborted CoP mod merge, i'm not that keen on the idea; and that was just with a slightly newer AI Tweaks.

Alright, I just got myself a new computer. For the first time in forever I have a computer that can run any game on the planet. Yesterday I finished playing Metro: 2033 and sweet Jesus does that game look amazing. Now I was hoping to improve my Stalker gaming experience with a few mods. I've never modded Stalker before mostly because the PC I was playing the game on was crap and throwing on a graphics mod would do jack all. Now I have a decent computer (i5-4690, 16GB RAM, 4GB Nvidia GTX 970, 240gb SSD, 1TB HDD) I want to try modding the graphics and the gameplay. I looked at the first page of the thread and it seems the data is a bit out dated. What mod should I install to get the best graphics experience out of the game? What mod should I install for more weapons, armour and other equipment? What exactly is Misery? I can't seem to find a clear-cut answer to what exactly the mod is. Arsenal Overhaul on the other hand, adds a lot of stuff(as well as weapons) like new ammo types, new suits.It also has AF3 and AN 3 as optional addons.
