is there any way or mod to make a faction unhostile? i climed 2 steps of a ladder in rostok and now all of duty wants my head

Hostility in stalker isn't handled like fallout iirc, can't just wait it out. [editline]7th July 2013[/editline] If you're gonna kill someone at some point make sure they're the only ones simulated in A-life of their faction, then kill them all and make sure they're dead and not just wounded severely.

If you're running pure vanilla then that may not be available to you and I wouldn't really suggest getting a database unpacker just to change that.

[editline]herp[/editline] If you want realism in terms of gunplay then LURK is a very good choice. It features a total weapons overhaul with all-new models and animations with consistent quality and raises the deadliness of combat on both sides. Stamina / inventory management is also pretty important because the weight limit has been decreased to 35 kg. AMK on the other hand is basically like SoC 1.5 featuring a more unpredictable and varied A-Life and world events and cut features like randomly happening blowouts , ability to sleep, moving anomalies and monsters that were previously cut from the games. AMK doesn't add a whole lot of content but this also works in the mod's favour in that it's not a bloated mess like some of the megamods. If you end up liking AMK you'll probably want to try out ZoA which is AMK but it adds more content like weapons, new medical system and magazine system and heavy graphics overhaul. Trying AMK first is very recommendable however since it acts as sort of a good way of understanding the other overhaul mods and ensures you're not completely lost like you most likely will be if you jump straight into the weird and confusing russian megamods.
