aH..This game is surely buggy.. After retreiving the " experimental " weapon and informing the captain guy in pripjat my game fades to a blackscreen just to fade to normality again but i have no HUD and the game doesnt receive any sort of input

are you using a mod?

I played with Reloaded and everything was ok. Or maybe it's just my luck - even WoDU crashed only twice for me.

well it looks like im royally fucked I tried to retrieve the gun again, this time with no mods in a clean install but i couldnt even load my save becouse it would crash..... if anyone has a " clean " save just after that part i would really apreciate it!

you can't just load a save you made with a mod, on a non-modded game, or using any other mod.

Thankfully in CoP it's relatively fast to get to the point where you previously were in the game if you know what to do and just powerhouse your way to the point where you were in the main story. If you want a graphics / weather overhaul for your first time I'd recommend sticking with AF3+Absolute Nature and Structures. Having to start your game all over again due to save corruption or unavoidable crashes just plain sucks but that's something that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. players tend to have to get used to sometimes. Just so you know, regular Call of Pripyat [I]should[/I] be relatively bug-free so I doubt it'll crash as much as Reloaded does. Even still, it's always recommended to make a new hard save at regular intervals like when you turn in a story mission or end the session for a day.

if you guys haven't tried it, the new Last Light DLC has a mission where you play a Polis Stalker and you need to go up to the surface and Lenin Library to search for relics of the old world, it's fucking awesome and massively stalker-like

You need to do the others before that one for it to come up.
