it would be kinda cool if mutants could heal by radiation.
Well when i asked for suggestions for GRAPHICAL mods the only answer i got was that one
why not read the suggested mods?
also anyone got any tips for steam to stop removing the Disk version of SoC from my library?
You can actually find the elephant's foot in SoC, in the Agroprom underground, but it's a long way from the Sacrofag and alas it isn't radioactive.

Deadliest anomaly ever.
Wait I thought you run past a bunch of elephant feet in the games. I'm pretty sure there are some in Agroprom.

Ok I didn't actually finish reading the thread when I posted that. Thanks etcetera.
Yeah there are a few in the underground, it's cool!
Was the franchise on sale? I see some rookies around here.

Just from reading what was above, if you were to combine some of the actual observation, research, and science behind the exclusion zone with a game, something even more fantastic could come out of it. For example, I recall that there are huge fish in the pools around the reactor because they have remained isolated from predators and such, allowing them to live longer and grow quite a bit. Now imagine a stalker game where you can actually kill and catch these fish and sell them off to a fence for a high price. Hell, maybe there are a few fish that swallowed smaller artifacts and the fish glow or have odd properties that enhance their value. Just imagine your trip to the center of the zone and seeing a strange glow beneath the surface of the water.
I think what enticed me so much about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was that you begin the game with the idea that the zone is just a place with radiation. Then, you meet your first mutant, find your first artifact, and the mysteries start becoming apparent. The bizzare nature of the world in contrast to reality made it such an interesting game, and of course discovery it all incrementally made it even better.
Underwater creatures, in Stalker
Nope.
Nope.
I cannot agree this enough. Imagine entering a swamp pond and it happens to have shark bloodsuckers that instantly chomp your legs off.
Nerts or Crisis wouldn't mind that, though.
sharksuckers, tarkfuckers.
Circling above the grave.
Jesus DICK peoplesoup is hard as fuck
I'm currently replaying CoP with Misery, nice mod, I like the feel of it. I have the strangest bug though. Eating causes a repair kit to spawn in my inventory. Every time. Every single time. Degtyarev has serious digestive issues.
hey guys, suggestion time!
i need an adjective to describe something that is mostly used/emptied but not to a critical degree
e.g. it has less than half of its contents remaining

Diminished. Use case- "The contents of the box were severely diminished, enough supplies left inside to avail two, maybe three, more unfortunate souls to enter the complex."
Edit- Balls, that was there in the Thesaurus.com link. Disregard!
thanks guys, i got it sorted!
"it is sort of but not quite empty like a little bit between empty and 3/5ths of the way to half empty"

I think that's a little more than just an adjective.

A nice vid from your friends at Giant Bomb.
^maybe some other time, i don't have the patience to sit through an hour-long playthrough of some dweeb talking.
.... no talking in stalker, it ruins the immersion.
Fuck the police, fuck the military, and fuck the dweebs.
Renegades4Lyfe.
Someone make that a goddamn joinable faction already.
