I'm surprised character model replacements haven't become commonplace already, the vanilla models are terribly dated which is a shame because everything else still looks pretty good, aside from the foliage

Ok match cancelled due to unforseen technical problems. We apologize.
Somehow we got into a knife/gun fight standing next to each other and neither of us died after a minute of stabbing, shooting and reloading since we couldn't hit each other. Incredible.
I'll make sure to keep it like that for the actual match.

Everytime I travel there or sleep/run a cycle of the game world, Stalkers come sprinting out from the bar to form a clusterfuck that gradually dissipates. Oh, and for some reason, there are zombies [B]everywhere[/B] now.
Man I love this game.

For an introduction to stalker, it's pretty bad.
As a game it's okay, if not insanely infuriating at times - way more so then the others.
It has some really good parts though, like red forest.
I really like Clear Sky. It's not supposed to be an 'introduction' to STALKER, it's the second game in the series. The faction mechanic is awesome, although I may be biased because I've always liked sieging bases and taking them over.
