So people have started to recreate game covers with clip art and Comic Sans.
^^^^That's pretty amusing
Even though I'm not the most devoted when it comes to collecting MGS stuff, I think I'll get the Legacy Collection since it's such an awesome package of everything.
Fingers crossed that they make trophies possible for MGS1.
snip
in mgo it would be awesome if they turned CQC into a minigame.
basically like when someone tried to jack your mech in mech assault in multiplayer. except it would be way better.
like when someone else tries to preform a CQC move on you you can press a button to start a counter if you press it just before they get their hands on you. then each player would have to press buttons corresponding with actual movement (instead of the standard qte button mashing) and every counter would be different because they could come at you from any angle attempting to do any number of moves.
the actual countering could maybe make the two enter into slow motion and would have to basically counter each other's actions in a really advanced game of rock paper scissors where you can get a hint at your player's next move if you're skilled enough at spotting visual ques, can also step back or out of the way etc etc.

And then his team-mate shoots you from behind. Really it's not fun being stunlocked in a CQC fight forever.
i am replaying mgs2 and am noticing some weird similarities between plisken and solid snake. mainly the hairstyle and eye colour, but they also sound a little bit similar.
my guess is that they'll be revealed as brothers or distant family in ground zeroes
Are you actually being serious. Finish the game, read your comment, then slap past you for being retarded.

Exactly, there's no way in hell Plissken is anything to do with Snake. Christ, what an imbecile.

Plissken is the real hero in the series.

Snake is dead. He died on the tanker.
What about old snake in MGS4? is that Snakes uncle-in-law?
Pliskin disguised himself as old snake
Damn Pliskin must be a master of disguise.
Wondering why Kojima hasn't done anything with the character.

Regardless of what many avid fans think, fan fiction is not canon to the Metal Gear storyline.
yeah beacuse solid snake died on the tanker it must be his brother, and it's possible that he dresses up as big boss and also makes himself age very quickly
it's a shame he isn't in more games
