After replaying MGS2 earlier this week, I think I can safely say that it is the worst game that I have played in the series. It's not only bad compared to all the other games, it's just bad in general. and not because of Raiden either, although I hate him as well, he's not nearly the worst part about that game.

But in all seriousness, it would be [i]awesome[/i] if MGR 2 was about playing as Raiden, Sam, and Bladewolf. It would have to be done Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep style, where it's the same story from three different perspectives, with all stories converging at the very end.

Wow, it's been so long since I've actually played MGS3 that I completely forgot Josh Keaton voices Ocelot in the game. Very strange hearing Spider-Man's voice come out of Ocelot's mouth going back to it now.

Sounds a tad like call of duty's current direction. Also, just watched a guy get obliterated in the comments on youtube. He claimed that now MG was 'unrealistic, with too much animu and kawai', the entirety of that vid's viewers then turned up and said 'and since when has Metal Gear been realistic?'

But which kind of style would you prefer? I need to take people's opinions in account when it comes to making an indie game.

Look at how they do stuff in the streets of rage games and specifically faces. Some characters have the white of their eyes visible and others don't at all, just basic hint of brow line and shadow covering their eyes. Variety on that level would make a world of difference.

im gonna be straight up here; i had more fun in MGS3 killing people and CQCing fuckers while being stealthy than i did skulking around with a tranq gun and holding people up before i choked them gunplay and CQC is just a lot more fun to me
