Just random shit occured in my head.
So, Kiefer is ultimately the new BB voice. And yet Hayter doesn't shut up meaning he's still within the developement of the game.
WHAT IF THEY ARE MAKING PHANTOM PAIN AND GROUND ZEROES AS A TIE IN INTO MG 1 AND MG 2, DOING MG 1 AND MG 2 REMAKES ON FOX ENGINE?
yeah, a man can dream.
You dont really pay attention much do you?
Oh hey, we get to see that horned BB model at a bunch of different angles!
Just made this, sorry about the crap quality.

Finally beat Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater, I didn't experience any of the framerate issues people were talking about when playing their copies of the game

I still get framerate issues. Drops down to 15 in a few areas, but it was a hell of a lot better than the demo which ran at like 5 fps.

fuck off i dreamt that last night its TRUE!!!! kojima is my ocelot brother
Kojima tweeting all kinds of stuff, can tell he's a bit nervous.
I'll depict "Revengence" in MGSV but isn't "Vengeance" that ends once killed. I'll depict "Chain of Revengence" that lies b/w groups(race).
So it isn't going to just be "Defeat your nemesis, win the game" it'll explore the after-effects. No doubt how BB reaches villain status. Whether it will actually be the patriot's fault or moreso his own doing is what I wanna know.
This has me scared:
Back in April 2010 I tweeted "I will be challenging taboo in my next project.if failed I may have to leave this industry. Today I found a person who supports my project, the only one thou yet but I call this as a good start. " Now I can't recall who that was.
Baring in mind the trailer will be mature rated. He wasn't bullshitting about pushing boundaries and taboos I guess.
I'm still skeptical on how shocking it's supposed to be.
As long as he doesn't pick up the crack pipe he was smoking during MGS2 development I think we will be okay.
So, between all the MGS games, which one is the largest? (as in, gameplay, exploration and so on.)
Metal gear solid the first. The amount of times dying in that game will astound you. We're talking about a death montage of endless deaths. 30 hours+
The more times you beat it, the more you will be able to speed run it.

I'm scared for the serie, but this is making me even more excited!

MGS1 is by far the smallest, there's really not that many areas in the game and you spend most of the time going back and forth at least 3 times between each of them. And even then it's still kinda short compared to the other ones.

Probably a mix of dead child soldiers and racism in Africa.
So, was Metal Gear Online any fun? I guess it was shut down due to low player count but i always wanted to try it.

It was pretty cool. It was relatively unlike anything I'd played.

It was terribly "unbalanced" once I joined, the pro's were so pro it was fucking silly. If MGSV gets a new MGO then you start that shit right away.
I feel like I'm the only one who didn't like MGO.

Well, technically I didn't like it either, but I saw the potential.

The North American community's behavior left a bitter taste in my mouth and some gameplay design mechanics like invincibility frames (there is a split-second right after you get hurt where you can't get hurt at all which led to headshots as a more reliable method to kill) were weird mechanics IMO.
MGO was bad and boring if you joined a game through the matchmaking. But god damn if you go search for a game you could find some really awesome guys to play with.
Cloak Raider and gang's just finishing up their stream:

On the topic of MGS game length, I really wish MGS4 was longer. I really liked the gameplay but there wasn't enough.

It really felt like the story got in the way of the gameplay in 4. The first two acts were fine, but after that it kind of went downhill. Especially in act 3. Fuck act 3.

Edit: first time playing it, I got my ass handed to me, kay'?
I added more time just back-tracking, dying, exploration, observing, sneaking, then I can remember.
The sequels after were not that hard. By then I was more experienced and more careful. Trial and error was still present though.

Act 3 was like, 10 minutes of gameplay and an hour and a half of plot exposition and cutscenes. Hopefully V is moving away from that.
