i heard you can disarm enemies in mgs3... is that true? like just run up to them and grab their gun and flip them on the ground or some shit
You can throw them to the ground, but it doesn't disarm them. The disarm maneuver is in MGS4 however.
i accidentally fell asleep lol, but here's my review audio issues, i cut it short, and i stuttered a lot, but... how'd i do for my first time?
you really don't have the voice for this
I only watched about 15 seconds but it sounds like his voice is a perpetual bad solid snake impression
The length seems like an iffy topic with MGR. My playtime was 6 hours of gameplay, but that doesnt take into consideration failed runs and cutscenes, and apparently the cutscenes, judging from a video that compiled them all, lasts for a bit over 3 hours, so thats a good 9 hours. The previous MG games counted cutscenes in the endgame time, along with continues.
you really don't have the voice for this
Cover your ears so you don't hear the lies, milkandcooki.
I finally beat persona 4 which means now I can play through the original MGS for PS1 I beat out some losers for on ebay. I've only ever played the demo on a jampack which coincidentally, is the part you play through in MGS4(Minus the nikita launcher in the truck)
I've always thought the simulation Raiden went through would have been completely different to the real thing. I recall Solid Snake saying he bets it isn't like what actually happened, I imagine it was heavily censored and altered by The Patriots.
I like to think as Twin Snakes as Otacon's retelling of the story. [editline]15th April 2013[/editline] I know it doesn't make much sense, esp since he wasn't there a lot of the time but I still think it's a funny theory.
how do you know if he was or wasn't there?
Replaying snake eater non-lethally. Just fell into the caves. Heh i forgot how much of a dork Ocelot was. What do i get for non lethaling Pain? Also, does Ocelot appear in Peace Walker at all.
You get hornet camo, and you gotta find a way onto his platform to get it.
Also, does Ocelot appear in Peace Walker at all.
No.

Something that /v/ just pointed out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantom_eye_syndrome
The phantom eye syndrome is a phantom pain in the eye and visual hallucinations after the removal of an eye.
Sounds familiar.
Something that /v/ just pointed out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantom_eye_syndrome Sounds familiar.
It seems a bit random to have Big Boss all of a sudden have the syndrome when he already has not had his eye for years. I doubt phantom eye syndrome is something that pops up like 15 years later after they lose the eye. It makes sense for it to occur shortly after the eye is gone since the body would still be adjusting, but for it to occur so far down the line seems kind of stupid. I'm more keen with the theory that Big Boss is hallucinating from drugs.
It could be Phantom eye syndrome brought on from the coma or some shit. Although any type of speculation will likely end up in a wrong answer, knowing Kojima it could be a really odd reason for it.

Google phantom limbs, it can be anything missing.
Google phantom limbs, it can be anything missing.
I think hes refering to whats causing Big Bosses hallucinations.
I think hes refering to whats causing Big Bosses hallucinations.
Kojima decided to put in the game what he sees while he's writing the script.
Finally beat armstrong on hard. Parrying? Whats parrying? Dodging is where its at. So started Revengance playthrough and holy fuck this is hard. The first four enemies on the screen had me going for a good 20 minutes and don't get me started on the two bladewolves. After hearing Boris tel me how to beat Ray for the 15000th time i decided to call it quits for the day. Oh i just can't wait for the bladewolf boss.
Something that /v/ just pointed out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantom_eye_syndrome Sounds familiar.
Would it really happen 19 years after the event though?
Ordered Revengeance for 10€ at a local store because I had 40€ worth of store credit I had forgotten about. :v:
The sorrow possesses his right eyehole and fucks with him the whole game.
What do you mean?
What do you mean?
I don't entirely know, but it got me chuckling.
I don't entirely know, but it got me chuckling.
Being me i over-thought it and ruled it out considering he was the only one who saw the Sorrow even when he had both eyes.
Getting HD Collection for my birthday on friday so hyped!
Would it really happen 19 years after the event though?
9* I don't think phantom limb syndrome would kick in after a coma especially given how long he's dealt with it. Then again if it did, that would probably make TPP tutorial seem like one big fucked up red herring.
