So, around 7ish hours until the release of the extended trailer. I think Kojima said it's around 11 minutes so there will probably be a hell of a lot more in it.

kinda curious how the supernatural stuff will tie into the game after watching the new footage. looks really nice and makes a change having night actually be dark.

Raiden was born in the 80s whereas Liquid was born earlier 70s and given the kid looks into his early teens it's more than likely Liquid.

The kid he's strangling is the kid in the cage, who is Chico. We already know this.

The kid is Chico from Peace Walker.

They called him Chico in the GZ gameplay segment I'm surprised people forget that. It was also stated you would be travelling between countries, so far Afghanistan and somewhere in South Africa are the only places we know about but nothing stopping them from having more.

people keep saying that but i don't get why. i watched all of the cutscenes from peace walker and i don't recall that kid, and also - this is hideo kojima we are talking about. why would you be so sure of his identity

Seriously guys, I haven't been as exited and happy about a game in a long, long time.

Personally I think it's neither. Liquid said indeed that he hunted jackals in the Middle East, but that was during the Gulf War. As for Raiden, he Should be in Liberia serving as a child soldier for Solidus, if he was even born by the time. But then again, retcons.
