because it blinks and probably also beeps (that's literally the only reason)
also it would make sense in a way because BB hasn't got his scarred as hell face, funky as hell head diamonds and robotic arm yet when that happens, which would probably be caused by a near fatal/missed explosion
it being a bomb would also be really dark which is the way mgs5 is going to be

It is set during/around the 70's(?), I doubt tracking equipment was very small back then.
Although then again, it is the MGS universe.

Yeah, during the first gameplay video of the original gorund zeroes BB had like a hologram computer thing on his arm, so I doubt they are following technology 100%.
Also they made a walking battle mech that could launch a nuke in the 70s.
The girl with the short hair is Paz. It's a common practice to shave the hair off women in certain countries when they become POWs or when whoever is doing it wants to get a stranglehold over the population.

Why would they totally remove a useful and fully functioning item like that? It's in there else they wouldn't have bothered showing it.
Kojima wants to fuck with us regarding story and characters not "hehe trolled you with that holographic map device, got you good!"
So if the person in the trench coat is indeed Miller, then it's safe to assume that after forming Diamond Dogs, BB and Miller are going to interrogate the former MSF members to get to know who sold them out.
I'm tipping the guy in the DD beret could be Campbell. He's wearing practically the same outfit that Campbell/Trautman from Rambo wears. Nothing there is concrete and it could just be a new character but so far on looks and the likelihood of his allegiance, I would say Campbell.

Didn't Big Boss get a tracker put into him in MGS3? It was pretty small and didn't look like a package.

Just rewatched the Grounds Zeroes trailer, the XOF commander says that "the Trojan horse is in", so could Paz, or the chick with the bomb in her guts be the Trojan horse?
