I've seen a lot of graphic stuff in video games, but that surgery scene is probably one of the most horrific things I've seen in a video game.

They could be two separate games, GZ being a lot shorter/cheaper. Or GZ could be a demo they release before PP. Or GZ is just like the virtuous mission in MGS3. They haven't been clear on any of the possibilities yet.

I've heard a lot of people say Ground Zeroes is going to be released seperate from the Phantom Pain. Granted, until I see anything coming from the words of Kojima-san's translators, I'm skeptical, but there you go. It's all hearsay. I wouldn't be too surprised if it was split up.

My assumption has been that Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain are on same disc and when Big Boss falls into a coma, Phantom Pain starts up nine years after the events at end of Ground Zeroes.

Wasn't it put out there that MGSV was going to take forever to fully release and Konami was considering releasing GZ somewhere in between to keep interest up? Either way GZ and PP are the same game, GZ is just the Tanker Chapter/Virtuous Mission of MGSV.

It also seemed to be the first over the shoulder TPS with a cover system, even if the cover system was pressing X at a few places

It was just one of the first to integrate QTE's with cutscenes. MGS series has also kind of done that since first person was introduced, but only little hints and details that you could see, not really any action things.

I mean, apparently she was saved by BB when she was a child, maybe you do get to save Sniper Wolf and learn her real name. Still, I kinda think that we are being trolled, big time.
