With the exception that Ocelot's arm transplant didn't actually work properly, yeah Then again, maybe that wouldn't be a problem if you weren't trying to put the arm of a batshit crazy clone on in replacement, of course.
[sp]Ocelot wasn't actually possessed by Liquid though.[/sp]
not even close to as similar as msg3 and peacewalker. and at least mgs1 and 2 both have good gameplay unlike pw
i haven't played pw as i don't have the money to so i cant comment on that the videos of the gameplay i've seen make it look kinda ehh because it's super cqc focused and combat focused, which seems off for mgs [editline]12th June 2013[/editline]
What puzzles me the most is that if Kiefer is voicing Big Boss, than why the hell is he voicing the bandaged guy: 0:27
because ishmael isn't real and is all a part of snake's imagination
[sp]Ocelot wasn't actually possessed by Liquid though.[/sp]
Oh aye I know, I'm referring to the fact that [sp]he gets it replaced again with a cybernetic prosphetic, under the guise of "restoring" or "balancing" or something "his psyche".[/sp] Weird man he is.
I'm still trying to work out why Kaz loses an arm, though more specifically, how that's even possible, when you consider this: Unless the MGS Universe has some very fucking good prosthetics, he somehow has a very human looking arm by 2005.
Isn't that concept art of MGS1? In which case its just liquid.
Isn't that concept art of MGS1? In which case its just liquid.
That's always a possibility too, since Miller is never actually seen in MGS1 [sp]due to being dead and all[/sp]. The alternative of course is that it IS Miller, but is also perfectly capable of being retconned. Which wouldn't actually be that suprising, considering Miller was already retconned once :v:
http://www.gametrailers.com/videos/lpco6n/metal-gear-solid-v--the-phantom-pain-e3-2013--kojima-interview PC port confirmed to be under the works and they are looking to release it along with the other platforms.
Any news on this?
Isn't that concept art of MGS1? In which case its just liquid.
It does make sense that he regained limbs somehow though, he did train Solid Snake after all.
[sp]Ocelot wasn't actually possessed by Liquid though.[/sp]
I thought he was actually possesed during MGS2, I think that was the reason why he got rid of the arm in the first place. To eliminate the random factors. And then he used that to fool the La-li-lu-le-lo.
He wasn't actually possessed, it was all nano machines, Though he did snag the arm.
I'm still trying to work out why Kaz loses an arm, though more specifically, how that's even possible, when you consider this: Unless the MGS Universe has some very fucking good prosthetics, he somehow has a very human looking arm by 2005.
Well, if not just liquid, what if Miller transplanted someone else's arm and leg like how Ocelot originally got Liquid's arm.
He CAN'T be Liquid, why would the Patriots use such a valuable "insurance" from the Terrible Children program to hide in an Afghani shack ? Liquid was probably in the US or UK during the games time training to be a SAS member.
Im pretty sure it was stated before he was a child soldier. Also look at him dude, "A Youth who Curses his Destiny" Come on. [editline]12th June 2013[/editline]
He wasn't actually possessed, it was all nano machines, Though he did snag the arm.
No, in MGS2 it was genuine possession, in MGS4 it wasnt, hence the mechanical arm in MGS4. Dont argue it. His father is The Sorrow.
Maybe it's Raiden?.... Even though he doesn't look like him at all... [editline]12th June 2013[/editline] The "curses his fate" kid I mean
Maybe it's Raiden?.... Even though he doesn't look like him at all... [editline]12th June 2013[/editline] The "curses his fate" kid I mean
Unless Soldius plays a major role, no, its not.
Maybe it's Raiden?.... Even though he doesn't look like him at all... [editline]12th June 2013[/editline] The "curses his fate" kid I mean
Raiden would be much, much younger. Eli looks about 12.
Raiden would be much, much younger. Eli looks about 12.
True...Maybe it's just a new character then.
Its Liquid.
the La-li-lu-le-lo.
Wait, why can't you say the patriots? ARE YOU WORKING FOR THEM? In other news, Metal Gear solid 5 looks absolutely amazing. Open world stealth.. oh man
He's even wearing Liquid's necklace, and Liquid makes it clear that he met Big Boss when he was young.
He's even wearing Liquid's necklace, and Liquid makes it clear that he met Big Boss when he was young.
Liquid doesn't wear a necklace, he wears dogtags.
The necklace has Jackal teeth on it.
I don't understand how Kaz would train Solid Snake to be an expert in CQC if he was missing an arm and a leg
I don't understand how Kaz would train Solid Snake to be an expert in CQC if he was missing an arm and a leg
Thank god Big Boss was the one who taught him.
Thank god Big Boss was the one who taught him.
But Master Miller becomes a drill seargeant who ends up teaching future soldiers, I don't know how he'd do it if he's missing limbs
But Master Miller becomes a drill seargeant who ends up teaching future soldiers, I don't know how he'd do it if he's missing limbs
Are you forgetting that Big Boss himself has a cyborg arm as he rescues Miller? Come on dude :v:
I clearly am :v: I think I'm gonna go through the entire series again. I went through 2+3 when HD came out, but I need to do them all again, fucking hype. Need to absorb as much metal gear as I can!
Is it worth it to get and play through Portable Ops? I found it on the Playstation Store for $10 and I'm tempted to get it.
Is it worth it to get and play through Portable Ops?
Is it worth it to get and play through Portable Ops? I found it on the Playstation Store for $10 and I'm tempted to get it.
It has no real impact on the overall story. It was mentioned once in PW. I don't know what the gameplay is like though.
What I'm wondering is how Big Boss goes from a mercenary out for revenge to heading up U.S. Special Forces Unit FOXHOUND. [editline]12th June 2013[/editline]
It has no real impact on the overall story. It was mentioned once in PW. I don't know what the gameplay is like though.
Well it does show where Big Boss gets his funds for Soldiers Without Borders and it shows Big Boss recruiting his first soldier, though you're probably best just watching a longplay of it.
