Those weird light things are bugging me too. Someone suggested ages back it could be inferring that this is a simulation that Solid Snake is viewing or something.
If we actually see those lights in-game then it has to mean something but otherwise I'd assume they are in the trailers as part of some cryptic bullshit.
Upon further reflection, Troy Baker as Ocelot is fucking stupid as well as Quiet's design.
I've noticed that those lighting things only show up at key points of the game.
Every trailer (The GZ Trailer, The PP trailers) has shown it.
Kojima is trying to do things different and i really have no reaction to it until i play it for myself :v:.
But yeah besides open world i guess there is also a bit of base building / management because we have to build a private army again like Peace Walker

I just smiled all the way through the trailer, I honestly almost cried, MGS is one of, if not the, best games ever... I can't wait.
