The entire public service thing is just horribly designed I think. It is one of the biggest problems I have with the game. One day to demolish something, you can only have one construction site down at once, You can't do ANY mayor work when there is a town event going on because "mayors need to take a break", and the way you have to place structures is slow, clunky, and unintuitive. I wish they put more time into it.

With the amount of varying works and customization options I have no doubts that they've put a ton of work into it. It's simply a standard in animal crossing that every major change in town takes a day. It's always been that way, it probably always will be. They deliberately designed it to be a slow pace game where you can't possibly do everything, or even too many things in one day.
I for one don't have much of an issue with the system and I've placed a fair number of public works, maybe I'm just overly patient.
I just hate how you can't do public work projects on the events.

You can get girl hairstyles as guys, it just takes some dedication.

Finally got Animal Crossing for the Wii, I only recently played the Gamecube and NDS versions, why in the holy name of Cthulhu is this game so addicting? I've been fishing and bugcatching for hours and I honestly can't tell what is making me keep playing.
[B]EDIT[/B]: I'm so glad this version doesn't have the stupid housing situation of AC on the Gamecube, I like the variety added simply by choosing who you are going to live by.

I don't have wifi for my 3DS right now, but should tomorrow. I can give you the red shells, don't need anything for them, since I don't plan to display them anyway.
Turn on AC this morning to hear my approval rating hitting 100%, Tortimer telling me to come visit the island tomorrow, my house expansion is done and I immediately paid off the 98k or so for the next expansion.

You're having a bad day, and so am I. Though I think it's because I bought king tut's mask.
So I completely forgot about visiting a villager yesterday, I posted about it awhile back. Well, I decided to go to Nookling junction before it closed, and there I saw said villager. It was a pretty awkward atmosphere, and when I talked to her, she yelled at me.
I ran out of the store in fear, and wrote her a letter and put a donut stool in it as an apology, then mailed it to her.
I was afraid I'd get murdered if I didn't.
