I have a question. Me and girlfriend play on the same 3DS. We'd like to have one game each. Does the game support multiple game sessions? That'd be a huge downer for us. Thanks!

Both of you would play in the same town and get seperate houses. Only one of you gets to act as mayor, though. The other is simply a resident. The first person to create a save becomes mayor.
All this means is that the game will be the same for both of you, except whoever is mayor gets to run community projects and decide the town's ordinance. Also, if you've never shared an Animal Crossing game with someone else before, you ought to know that their actions can affect the town for the both of you. You may plant a tree, only for the other person to cut it down later.

Thanks for the answer! The way you're talking about it, it almost sounds like a plus because we'll be able to interact together somewhat. We don't mind that one of us is the mayor, that's nice.
