Sometimes I hate being so nocturnal. I'm more active with videogames during the night, but of course in New Leaf all the stores are closed by then. So there's usually not much for me to do when I actually get time to sit down and play this game. I'm still sleeping in a tent 'cuz Nook's store is always the first to close.

Also Dane here, that Bestbuy trick doesn't work for me either.
Apparently if you keep your gate open or have other players in your town, bees won't come out of your trees. Also, there are two furniture pieces possible to get each day by shaking trees.

It seems like watering saplings does nothing, is that correct? I want my new lemon trees to grow faster.
Also my buttfruits didn't regrow after a day.

So I was expecting to buy the game today for cheap by selling a few used games. But all the stores in this city are selling the game 10€ higher than the base price which severely diminishes my saving.
I came back home empty handed.

I still have my Hero's boots up for trade.
10 days into the game, I've donated I'd say about 50% of the bugs, fish, and fossils, also I've paid off around 3 million towards house upgrades, I have some badges, a fountain, and I made another bridge. I didn't time travel.
Pro tip: go to island after 8pm, bring a net.
