Plus it's got an item catalog.[/QUOTE] The guide is very useful. I have played both WW and CF and still found the NL guide to be a nice thing to have. It allows me to find the shop times and bug/fish values very easily. I'd recommend it to a new player especially as there is some more basic info on how to play at the beginning. It also introduces all the NPCs and tells you about the shops/what they upgrade to etc etc. (Plus much more)
