For Animal Crossing, "day cycles" go from 6 to 6, not 12 to 12.

One thing I hoped for in this game was that the nights would get lighter during the summer, they still get dark around 7ish whereas around here it doesn't fully get dark til about 11.

Spent 2 hours on the island, got a ton of different beetles, and a few hermit crabs, and some sharks. I got 4 or 5 golden beetles as well.
