Why didn't I think to check for an FP ACNL megathread? I will monitor this thread.
I have the Japanese version of the game, by the way. Been playing since February, so all the useful stuff in my town is super upgraded if people want to mooch off of me. I'm on EST timezone, though, so -right now- everything is closed even on Night Owl ordinance.
I've also got Japan-only DLC, like the Campus set. It costs loads to catalog-order it, though, so if you want them you gotta be prepared to spend a good amount.

Woo, just got a 3DS and this game for a graduation present.
It's been fun so far. Managed to pay off the initial house debt in the first day and everything.
Just one question, does the breakable rock with the gem inside replace the old magic money rock?
