Anyone still play Wild World? I want to visit another town but everyone's gone to New Leaf and I don't have a 3DS:(

Wild World could. There were a lot of crazies with hacking tools in that game. The game used "seeds" as a way to store data and items. People with the proper tools could get unobtainable items with said tools and use them to either make their town special (like having multiple bulletin boards or moving buildings somewhere else) or use it to make certain things completely disappear in some cases making the game crash.
I was actually the victim of the second thing. Someone came to my town with the intention of breaking my save. He ended up making my house disappear by using a Gracie's car seed and the game would crash once I loaded my save since the game didn't know where to spawn me at.

Things like that are why I didn't really play online on Wild World

I don't think New Leaf uses Seeds at all. I know City Folk didn't. So the likelyhood of stuff like this happening again is unlikely. Plus the 3DS hasn't been hacked so that helps too.

Im not really sure, but i think that so far they're just NDS carts made to be able to work with the 3DS. I had an old card that got killed by the 4.5 firmware update so i guess the ones at this point are just for regular DS games but are actually able to be played by the 3DS.

How does the campsite work?
I want a Villager called Biskit in my friend's town to try and move into mine, does the campsite allow that?
I kept trying to speak to him hoping dialogue involving the campsite would pop up, but nothing

From what I understand They just have to show up in your camp randomly, then you talk to them over and over till they prompt a "Game" where if you win they move in, and if they win, they take an item. At least, that's my experience with it.
