Just got a call from GameStop telling me my copy is there... Sunday can't come soon enough.
Fuck.
Saw this on reddit
FUCK
Would it be possible for someone at Walmart to ring us up some copies early if they have a shipment of the game? Cause I got a man on the inside
Would it be possible for someone at Walmart to ring us up some copies early if they have a shipment of the game? Cause I got a man on the inside
Technically yes, but if they get caught breaking street date, I'm pretty sure that's grounds for a firing. Then again, I suppose it's up to the level of the guy you know. A dude on SomethingAwful is close friends with a store manager and she let him have a copy early (HNG).

you guys should use these last few days to spend time with your family and friends since you sure as hell wont be seeing them once you get the game
http://acnlqrrepo.x10.mx/ Sweeeet.
Ok, I definitely have to get this game now. I've always wanted to have fuller control over what my shirt designs were like, as well as being able to share them quickly. Man, this is gonna be great. [sp]Also, I might just have to do a few paintings and share them with you guys. =P[/sp]
I challenge anyone to describe Animal Crossing and somehow not make it sound like a pointless and boring game. I'm not dissing the game, I love the series. I will give £5 to the victor.

Where there are thousands design options for a dream house and a town filled with lovely neighbours who love to chat, it's not an action game by even the slightest, but the calm peaceful nature of carelessly strolling through the grass, and trying to catch the biggest fish has so much to give. Also you can do this with friends and relieve those youthful days of playing hide and seek in the fields.
i preordered new leaf today cant wait till sunday
I challenge anyone to describe Animal Crossing and somehow not make it sound like a pointless and boring game. I'm not dissing the game, I love the series. I will give £5 to the victor.

Animal Crossing is a series of video games that simulates social interaction within a small knit community. While there are goals that can be reached such as expanding your house, finishing fossil collections, and winning trophies, the overall focus of the game does not require you to do such things. Instead, the focus lies within existing day by day as you interact with the environment and the people within.
Hopefully that doesn't sound too boring. That's as best as I can describe it. [sp]And no, I don't want your money. =p[/sp]

Hmmm, having second thoughts on the desert theme. Fake cliffs, flimsy wood planks and bombcarts might be too dull |Tc A water world would be more fun, but it's been done to death already. Any ideas? VVV That's what I did in Wild World, but it wouldn't work as well since towns aren't flat anymore

VVV That's what I did in Wild World, but it wouldn't work as well since towns aren't flat anymore
I've done some fun (albeit probably not "unique") things to my town. Most commonly though, I either place roads and sidewalks connecting the whole village into some form of suburb, or I try and theme the place after various games, such as Super Mario Bros or Zelda.

I'm just hoping that the grass wear in this won't be as bad as it was in City Folk.
I'm just hoping that the grass wear in this won't be as bad as it was in City Folk.
People are saying it's not as bad. I have no idea why they even brought it back.
[del]But it always makes it look ugly.[/del] Actually, I shouldn't say that. It looks nice when used to make pathways and stuff.
I remember going back to Animal Crossing on GCN after not playing for a few months. MOTHERFUCKING WEEDS. [editline]6th June 2013[/editline] Yea, I didn't ever play it again.
[del]But it always makes it look ugly.[/del] Actually, I shouldn't say that. It looks nice when used to make pathways and stuff.
Yea, they've greatly improved it this time. Grass wear should happen a lot slower and it grows back as well. I don't think the grass wears away completely either and patterns should protect your grass from wearing down as well. I think it's a hard feature to judge when most people haven't seen it and expect it to be exactly the same as it was in City Folk.
I'm buying it on the eShop directly at midnight. The hype train has no brakes.
I honestly never noticed grass deterioration while playing City Folk. I didn't even know about it until about a month ago when I read someone talking about it coming back to New Leaf.
Oh man, you can put full outfits on mannequins? I'm going to put likenesses of myself all over my house. It will be the most handsome house ever.
Oh man, you can put full outfits on mannequins? I'm going to put likenesses of myself all over my house. It will be the most handsome house ever.
I think you can only get 3 mannequins, one from every Able Sister. At least I think so. I forget how it goes.
I think you can only get 3 mannequins, one from every Able Sister. At least I think so. I forget how it goes.
You could always get some off friends as well if they don't want them.
