It's actually more easy to just walk than to shake your 3DS for a while. At least, I got better results out of that.

If you want to play online with somebody they have to open their town gates.
in order to add a best friend, you must be in the same town as them and in the touch screen you should see a button in the bottom left. click the heart by their name to add them.
Also, if you add a best friend and they aren't in your 3DS friend list it will automatically add them.

i have mastered the art of capturing bees.
now I can swap out my honeybees for actual bees, soon my entire first floor will be BEES.
[sp]For those wondering about bees what I do is once a nest drops I bolt it until the nest is off screen, turn to face the direction of it, then hold A and release when the swarm is within range. Typically getting the nest off screen will give you enough time to react when the swarm starts chasing you.[/sp]
