You can use a Mii for your face, which means you could edit it that way I guess.

Well I tried joining a random person's town from my friend's list and I immediately got disconnected the moment I arrived. Though I had assumed it was because they were trying to boot out unwanted guests or something.

Yeah, I finished paying it off and as soon as I left the post office the bell rang and I got locked out.

Not everyone has the ability to connect an SD card to their computer.

It's like one of those "taking a picture of your desktop with a camera" kind of things, so yes. Be sure to get an SD card adapter for your computer for future reference 'cuz I can hardly see what's going on in that picture.
