This game is extremely fun, my first Animal Crossing.
Caught a Tarantula by luck, heard rustling by a couple trees,
swung my net blindly into the direction of the noise, and caught the bugger.
Also, does anyone know how to get a display case?
I saw a picture that had a tarantula in one, but in someone's house, not the museum.
I'd like to get one of those.

After unlocking the second floor of the museum you'll be able to purchase them there. Although you can just drop the Tarantula in your house and it'll instantly be in a little bug case.
