You can make Pro Desings at the Able Sisters shop and one of the options for the hat is the horned hat.

No cracks, and you can't even drop stuff on them. Basically consider them "taken up" spaces that you can walk on. Nothing else (object-wise) can occupy that space in any form.
In fact, if you put too many patterns down around trees or pop a balloon above a 3x3 or larger batch of patterns, the objects falling on them will simply disappear. Make sure you leave space around fruit trees.

I did. Everything except Nooklings' still closes a bit earlier than my nightly prime time. I stay up really late, and I'm busy during the day through the evening.
Sometimes I catch the tail end of their open hours, though. But I just don't eve think about patterning while I'm in there. I think about patterning after I've been playing into the night, so I usually just end up making non-pro patterns and making pathways. You have no idea how happy it made me when they allowed you to edit patterns without going to the Ables...

I bought a universal charger thing for 99p (sale yo) ages ago, it has like 6 different connections, one is for the 3DS/DSi.

stop catching normal fish then and get a habit for sharks :v:
Sharks aren't too hard to catch, and they're worth a lot. But catching rare beetles is a lot faster (if you set up the island to only have palm trees). Plus you can see which beetle you're catching, while the "sharks" could end up being a sunfish.
So I bought the Club Tortimer membership but I haven't used it yet because I don't know how bad the disconnecting problems are. Have you guys had a lot of people drop out on you there?

protip though- don't cut down the inner trees immediately as some bugs spawn there later at night (around midnight iirc) though the giant stag being the only one worth enough bells to catch after the first time.
