I still need to figure out what I want to make mine.
I've never really been tempted to make mine a recreation of something else, but I made this anyway.

I took it a step further and only used the default tune from the GC release.

I just stockpiled 40 dollars into my E-Shop account. I am ready for release.

New Leaf is going to be my first AC game, is there anything I should know about the series?
And since everyone was posting their tunes, I made this quick one: http://www.qrcrossing.com/melody/?s=ljfmjkhkhmmmlmmm
nothing, just learn and discover how the game works
Try resetting the game without saving, nothing bad will happen.
Hey guys!
I am the creator of QRCrossing, and I noticed some traffic coming from here, so I thought I would pop in and say hello, and thank you for finding an interest in some of the tools I have created.
I noticed some people were having issues, and I am betting those individuals were using FireFox.
Unfortunately FireFox uses an outdated audio codec and doesn't have WebAudio support, so there is a bug I am trying to work around right now which can cause the audio to stop playing. It's actually playing, but FireFox only has the capability to channel 1 'song' or audio file at a time, so what is happening is the old note is being stuck in memory and not being released. It's really frustrating, and I am working on solutions to try and correct it.
I'm always open to suggestions and input from people using the things I have been created, so if you have any comments or questions please let me know!
Couple things of note:
1) Safari/Opera support is coming for the Melody Creator.
2) Mobile interface support is coming.
3) A mobile app is coming for Android.
And last but not least, I just finished the basics on a melody list I am creating. It's small for now as I near the launch of the main site I am more attentive in preparation for that, but if you would like to see something added to the list, please don't hesitate to submit your creations.

Again, thanks, and only 1 more full day until Animal Crossing is out! Woo!
That would explain why the melodies sounded choppy on Firefox then.

Speaking of good ol' Resetti.
I still think removing him is bullshit because he's "scary." I think someone popping up reminding you to save is important and charming, if kids really do get scared by Resetti have it so instead of Resetti popping up, his much nicer brother Don pops up. At least that way they can still get important advice without being "scared."
They didn't remove him. It's an optional setting.

Thanks for stopping by! :) I submitted the main theme from Metal Gear Solid. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help your site grow!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I noticed the link to QRCrossing in the OP, and I think that is super rad. It's literally 24 hours now for the launch and I am getting quite excited for both the site and to finally be able to play New Leaf.
P.S. I'll be naming my town Starfall, and I fully expect to be a cruel dictator of town beautification.

We'll definitely be using your site a lot! All of us have been hype for a few weeks now, I know I'm getting it at midnight.
I'm either going to name my town Holodrum, Windvale, or Fairfax. I think Windvale came from your town generator, actually!
24 hours for you and other Americans. New Leaf releases on the same day as The Last of Us over here :(
And thanks for stopping by.

I'm wondering if you could add an option to change the notes by clicking and dragging the notes to change them. Apart from that small niggle I love it.
Guess I'll just stop checking this thread for a week so I don't get spoiled or jealous.
Prefer to discover things myself so I pretty much know nothing about the game besides tidbits.

Thanks for the site!
It's certainly a great way to sate our appetite for the game.
Also, thanks for the explanation on the audio glitch.
I had noticed it shorting out, but didn't even think of trying it on anything besides Firefox.

My statement still stands either way.
