I'm actually really happy with this layout, and I'm spending a lot of time planning out how I want it to look. Right now I'm conflicted about whether I want to put a suspension bridge near the campsite, or have a brick bridge between the town hall and plaza.

Just because they'd be very close to eachother, and I have plans for two other bridges. The maximum amount of bridges your town can handle is apparently three.

So I did this by taking a photo into Photoshop, exporting as a 15-color gif. Transferred the pallet into NL, and painstakingly transferred it pixel by pixel over the course of 2 days...

Welp, I guess I am both saddened and relieved that they have a QR code machine program. Saddened by the fact that I did waste a good ~10 hours working on various articles of clothing and patterns that I could have just scanned in, and relieved that I now don't have to spend ~2 hours recreating Van Gogh's paintings, which was next on my list of things to do.
On a brighter note, I think that listening to K.K. Adventure has inspired me to make a Skyrim themed room/clothing set, as lame as that may sound to some people.

I just realized how lucky I got with my town layout. The western bridge was a public works project, so originally I had to run all the way down the southern half of the map to access everything. But I figured it was like my own strip of land, so I took advantage of the spot. Even though Tammi moved in south of me, I still have plenty of space. And building the western bridge made it all worth it.

i got an app on my phone that converts an image into an ACNL 15 colour texture and then into a QR code. takes 2 minutes :D
