My AC 3DSXL just shipped, but because tomorrow isn't a business day I won't get it until Monday. I graduate tomorrow anyway, so I guess that lets me focus on something else.

Well looks like anyone who wanted to get the game a day early from Nintendo store in New York is out of luck. I heard they sold out at 11am and the line stretched a long way away.

I hope new leaf doesn't have the same problem as wild world where the latency is hilariously high. Even if it's just local multiplayer.
I never had that problem ever, even when playing with people in different countries
I guess it might not be that easy to notice unless you're looking at both screens together. It was a big problem in Phantasy Star Zero (or whatever) on DS. The games weren't synced and it was hard to cooperate when our characters were doing completely different things on each other's screens.
New leaf is out tomorrow for north murricans. Super fucking stoked.
It's a shame gamestop isn't doing a midnight release, though I guess you couldn't do much ingame at 12 in the morning :v:

My friend used his Action Replay to plant Nookington Seeds all over my town on Wild World, which caused the game to corrupt and you can't load it anymore. I used to love that game, but never had any money to buy it again. Now that I do, I don't have a DS.

I'm tempted to just get the digital version at midnight but I feel like the experience or whatever would be better to just get a physical copy in the morning and start my game when it's all sunny out and shit. Also I would prefer a physical copy in case my 3ds dies

When did Zelda OoA and OoS come out on the eshop? I tried staying up for it but they weren't out right at midnight.

My friend was there today, Said the line was a block long. Tomorrow I am buying the game on the sd card for $20 from a friend who bought the 3ds bundle but also got the boxed copy because he likes boxed games.

Im currently torn, i wanna upgrade to an XL and the limited edition one makes sense. but it doesnt...
Its £200 for that on amazon, or i could get a plain colour XL, and the game for £53 less.
paying £50 for a fairly girly pattern on my DS is a weird one.

Why would you buy a XL you don't like the pattern of and pay more for it as well. I don't see how you can be torn.
I have never played Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon, why is New Leaf such a popular game and what makes it so good?
I'm intruiged by it but whenever I watch gameplay about it, it looks really boring.

If Studio Ghibli made a life simulator thats what animal Crossing is. Also here's some more descriptions of it.
