How do i make lots of money fast before i get the island unlocked?

Sell all the shells on the beach, sell all your fruit, fish, catch bugs, sell fossils.

Sell all the fruit, buy whatever tools the shop has, hopefully a rod or a net, farm bugs and fish, if you get a shovel sell any fossils you get. paying off the house as fast as possible is all that matters, then having 1000 bells to go to the island and from there theres not much better for quick money

It has never happened to me or my girlfriend, your 3DS is probably faulty.

I've had my 3DS for almost a year and it has never crashed for me.

I have had 2 3DS' for almost a year and it's never happened to me on either of them.

I imagine it's the game time attempting to figure out where it's at now, or something. My DS only really crashes when I attempt to access Internet Browser with a faulty internet connection.
