I've gotten so used to the New Leaf artstyle changes that looking at the old Animal Crossing games is kind of odd now. Especially how much shorter the player character models are.

Looking back, Animal Crossing was just so generic looking. It just makes me thankful for everything they did with this one, art wise.

I did like how City Folk seemed more stylized than New Leaf. The grass looked really neat back then.
Oh well. I think New Leaf is superior to City Folk in almost every way. Unlike Wild World, which may or may not have been an improvement to Population Growing.
I still miss the cliff that ran through the middle of town in City Folk.

You can use the up button on the D-Pad to zoom in the camera in general, and the left and right buttons on the D-Pad to change the angle. I don't think the differences between real and fake art are smaller than that.
