Animal Crossing Megathread - Games

One last piece of bad news before launch: patterns do nothing to protect from grass deterioration. Also it looks like deterioration can still be pretty drastic, although it IS supposed to grow back faster. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1D8vbv7pf8[/media] All those dirt paths used to have patterns on them, and then the town owner removed them to put down something new and realized his grass was totally disintegrated.

I wish there was a way to transfer games from their cartridges to SD card memory, while essentially emptying the cartridge. Unfortunately, that would lead to all new possibilities of scamming people by selling them empty cartridges. There are a lot of games I own physically I'd like to put on my SD card.

I want to make a residential area with a separate forest, but I dunno if I'll be able to do that.

Whelp, this game's done it. I'm getting a 3DS tomorrow, should be able to snag one for about $130 CAD (with a trade in for my old phat DS) In terms of buying this game, is it going to be cheaper on the Nintendo online store?

As soon as the game's available at midnight, you can download it without needing to worry about picking it up, or the store running out of copies. The benefits are minimal for the time being, which is why I'm surprised Nintendo hasn't lowered the price of digital downloads a little.
