I always donate half of my fossils/fish/bugs/whatever and sell or keep the other half.
I get some cash and maybe some stuff, and the cool owl guy gets donations. Win/win if you ask me.

I had a very eventful day.
I catalogued and ordered the full Modern and Astro set, added a new layer to my house and pimped it out, renovated the museum, got the Super T&T market, got a new hairstyle, and netted around 390k bells from the island.
So I got my fortune told.

I'm having the same issue, I guess people are just finding people with full sets and cataloging them so that they can order items for themselves.

I pretty much just check the Nookling's shop and the Recycling Centre every day (and invade other people's towns to check theirs whenever the opportunity arises). Also shake trees every day (at least 1 furniture per day can be found from shaking trees) and talk to your villagers a lot and visit their houses. If you find a villager with nice furniture and you befriend them you can eventually convince them to sell you stuff from their house. Plus, villagers give you random clothes or furniture as rewards for doing them favours.
Also, get a slingshot and shoot down some balloons.

Cataloging by picking up and dropping furnishings owned by pals, and buying things at the Happy Home Showcase.

Some guy posted this on Reddit a few days ago, I can't find the thread. It's kind of like imgur except super lightweight and for the 3DS, so it loads very fast. You also don't need to log into anything. When you upload an image it will give 2 QR codes which can be used for your smartphone if you want. And a short url to easily load it on a computer.
Currently the images are not deleted after a certain amount of time, but the guy says this might change in the future, it's not meant to be a hosting site, just a quick way to upload screenshots.[/QUOTE]

I used to like Klaus, he was one of my first villagers after the initial ones and when he was contemplating moving I told him to stay. I changed his catch phrase to "et tu" because he's sort of ancient Rome themed. I sent him letters and gifts occasionally.
Recently I've been thinking of where to put the cafe, and his house is a nice spot. So I've been wanting him to move out. I feel bad though, since I was so friendly to him. I hit him with my net and he said "How could such a good friend do something like this, et tu?"
That's when I realized I recreated The Tragedy of Julius Caesar.
Finally got some homes in the HHA venue through Streetpass after going to a county fair. Apparently I also came across someone from France, found that to be intriguing.
Julian just moved into my town.
Fuck.
