How does the Move In feature work in New Leaf? Does it just copy a friend's town onto your 3DS or what?

If someone on a copy of the game that isn't mayor gets their own copy and they have another 3ds, they can move to that town and be a mayor themselves. The only things transferred will be your house, character, bank account, locker items, etc.[sp]Can anyone confirm this?[/sp]

Well my friend just got New Leaf and he wants to move into my town but we're not sure how it works. If it just copies the town over then he may as well make his own town.

You cannot move into a town that already has a mayor

My SD card with all my pictures, ambassador program games etc has just suddenly stopped working. Nothing will read it. NOTHING. [B]SAVE ME[/B]

You're fucked at actually recovering the files then if nothing reads it. Make sure the pins aren't corroded or covered and that it's unlocked. You can also try formatting the card with either FAT32(recommended) or FAT16. The No$ emulator works well with No$Zoomer(to zoom screen, reduce statics, ect)

Mr PC card reader tries to read the card forever until I take it out, it then says no card has been inserted. For some reason when the PC is trying to read the SD card I can't send messages on Skype. The message just appears and gets stuck in 'Sending Message' until I remove the card... thought that was strange. My 3DS either doesn't see it at all or says it cannot be read. I've given it a good wipe and I'm leaving it to cool down a little and I'll try again later when I get home from work.

Has it worked with your pc before? Hopefully it wasn't caused by something being written on it at the same time you removed it.(You're fucked if was) You should try closing skype and using different computer if that doesn't work.

I have created a female character to store patterns and distract Julian. The first part is working fine, second part... not so much. Also Static moved in, and it's his birthday. Was hoping to talk with him but he's too busy dancing around a table in his shit shack. I wish I could buy him a better house, it looks /miserable/
