Animal Crossing Megathread - Games

I hit Angus on the head so many times that he started enjoying it and wouldn't stop whistling the town tune. :suicide:

So how fun is New Leaf anyway? It seems like the best Animal Crosser of the lot.

Anyone know of a good 1x1 object that looks natural to set the TV with VCR on? Like, the TV stand that the wide-screen TV has but 1x1. I've flipped through the guide catalog but I'm unsure what can and can't have something sitting on it when it's that small and doesn't look like a table. Also, does anyone have neutral wall and/or floor that they would sell to me/let me catalog? Much appreciated. Some people may be nostalgic for the older ones, but this one simply has way more features on top of the same base game plus so much more.

Pretty much. I didn't play City Folk but I can say without a doubt there isn't a single meaninful way in which Wild World beats New Leaf, especially the new character styling. It looks SO much better. Characters now have bodies that are better scaled to their species and overall size, their materials are now 512x512 instead of 128x128, and they've got actual texture and definition to them. He loaned Purrl his wristwatch back in 2011, and I had to get it back from Billy. Then I had to get something back from Lobo that he was holding onto. All on the first day.

Lobo's a longtime favorite of mine. It saddens me how the increased number of villagers possible means I'll probably never see him in this game (unless it's in someone else's town. I get all the awful ones...)

I swear, my Super T&T gets the coolest shit suddenly. Today I got a mic stand with microphone and a billiard table.

OK, so I opened up my gates hours ago 'cuz a friend of mine wanted to buy a few things. After he came and left I went off to go stream some Metroid Prime on twitch, completely forgetting about my gates still being open. So after like practically 4-5 hours later I come back to my 3DS and realize, "oh shit, my gates are still open!" Jerks.[/QUOTE] If you talk to the villagers while they're at the counter and you're not working, they'll tell you a random thing they like. That combined with what they tell you when you do work can cover everything you need to know. Unfortunately, they'll eventually stop telling you one thing they want when they order. They'll just ask for "the usual".
