Ill have to check craigslist, iv just been looking at the used ones at gamestop and just don't feel like spending a lot of money for the ability to play 3 or 4 games.
Does this game require heavy use of the A or X button? One of those is broken on mine and wont register the press most of the time. Its a DS lite, maybe I could trade it in and help pay for a used 3DS XL.

Yes, A is required for all of the talking to the villagers.

You do need to use A and X. Though, if they're broken on your DS Lite, you won't have to worry. The game requires a 3DS to play anyway.

I'm still nervous about who's going to replace Queenie. Last couple folks to move in were Vladimir and Rocket (I hate both), so my luck's not been great.
Wish I could get at least somebody interesting.

Damn, that's a [I]really[/I] nice layout.
The only thing that could make it better would be if the town hall was between the plaza and train station.
And yes, that's a good spot for a bridge.
Pretty much all my major buildings (besides my house) are along the north edge, with my event plaza in the upper right corner.
Looks cluttered, but it's really handy for visitors. They barely take ten steps from the train station and Re-Tail's right there to the left.

I know that Psychocyclone has a fantastic location for Re-Tail. it's almost sitting on the Train Station's Cobblestone on the right side.

It's the top screen. You get a map of your town on the top when selecting a public works project to demolish.
