Again. The save feature was the same as the GC version. You talk to the gyroid by your house.

Everything IS in Japanese. That's why it couldn't have been on the N64. Also, if you rented it, and started a game without creating a town, it would not allow you to save it after the fact. Either you created one and saved it and worked from there, or played without saving.
I'm guessing he played the gamecube version or some other game like Animal Crossing that came out for the N64.

For those who may be interested in the real deal, this is what it looked like. It came with a memory card, and a sticker for both male or female players. With space on both the cartridge and the memory card to write the name of the city and the name of the player, repsectively. From the countless hours I've put into just this version(set aside the possible thousands of hours with Animal Crossing on Gamecube) I am able to say that without a doubt, it's the same game in a different language. Using the rock and shovel trick, I was able to pay off the second expansion of my home within days. However, the novelty wore off soon thereafter, and the game became what I had intended it to be to begin with: Merely a collector's item.
Is there a modded ROM for the N64 Animal Crossing that makes it in English? I'd like to try it out.

If you look around you can find an English patch but I don't think it was ever fully translated. I might be wrong.
All of my cities have been named "Place," and the flag is always a Swastika.
New Leaf will make all of this even better.

Okay, here's where I'm torn. In these games, you can eventually change the appearance of your Town Hall and Train Station. I really like the Modern stuff, and I feel like it fits the name 'Cinders' more, but I'm afraid it'll stand out too much, what with the surrounding greenery and all.
