Its probably behind something. I've had cases where the damn thing pops right behind a tree or flower which is frustrating because its very hard to see them.

Nope. Checked everywhere, still no sign of yesterday's OR today's fourth fossil.
I always thought that if you found a pitfall, you could only find three fossils.

So, Rodeo is moving in and I know exactly where he came from. My friend might think that once a villager is gone they're gone for good and no one can get them through Streetpass but this confirms that that is not true. I wish there was a way to disable Streetpass on this game for sending and receiving villagers, because I'd love to get other people's houses in the HHA, but I do not want their villagers.
This game loves to work against me, when I have space in my town campers become scarce and when they do show up I don't want them, so I end up getting forced with whatever regects I get through Streetpass. On the bright side, I have a "Perfect Town" it doesn't feel perfect though.

It's been confirmed that there's a 'pool' of villagers that, once they move out, the next person to visit their town has a chance of taking one of the last few villagers who left home with them.
