Despite the fact that Isabelle announced my birthday to Podunk yesterday, none of my neighbors gave a shit. Not even my mom. But I did get a strange letter.

For the receiver of the code, he must have had his 3DS registered for less than a month I think.

Hey, it was my birthday today also! It was awesome that I got a surprise birthday party. They gave me a mochi pestel.

It's not really a surprise, though.

So I cleared out my island and replanted 8 palm trees to try and get some good beetle hunting started, but now they are spawning very very rarely, and only on two of the trees. What did I do wrong?
