Saw a video, villagers contribute very very small amounts to community projects. Though I don't know, I'm not a time traveler 8T.

There needs to be a shady npc you can unload stuff off onto on off hours. Would be really useful, even if they give you less than Re-tail.

Got a visit from Tortimer, that was neat. Having trouble resisting the urge to jump ahead a single day (and then jump back, just so I can toot around on the island with a few friends) after funding the campsite, the beautifying ordnance, and doing a couple other house things. What exactly does messing around with time affect?
