Damn, I wish I remembered to take a picture of this. So, I was in this mouse named Penelope's house, and like the klepto I am I was searching through her drawer, and the message said that there was a toilet in the back, not being used. She gets mad that I was looking through her stuff, but then says I'd be doing her a favor if I took it off her hands. My guy does a little dance, and says "I got a toilet!" For some reason I was hysterically laughing.

I'll pay anyone like 5-10k bells for a good remake of the harry enfields open jacket. I don't have the QR Code reader yet (just a few more days. There's a fine line between the fun sort of waiting (like a day for your house to upgrade) and the annoying waiting (like waiting 10+ days for QR Code reader), and New Leaf, while really fun, is pushing on that second half of the line. It eases up after the first few days though, when you unlock mayor powers like public works and stuff.

Also, minirant: Mother FUCKER, every time I see a shark and try to catch it, whenever it sinks the bobber under, and I press A, no matter how good the timing, I never get it. How in the hell do you guys do it?

There really needs to be a chat log in multiplayer, even if it's just the previous 10 messages or something. Sometimes I miss a message because I'm talking to someone, or on a loading screen.

I always get in really fucking close, have my finger almost pressed on the button, and the sound to the max.

What kind of things can this game do in terms of multiplayer? Is there multiplayer?

There's deathmatch, team deathmatch (6v6), and a 'Capture the Nook' mode which is basically CTF except one person has to carry Tom Nook to their "base" (aka the spot where you want your team's house to be built) and the rest of the team has to gather bells from the other team to pay off their own team's debt.

You can roam around each others houses and buy stuff from each others stores, and put your own designs onto other peoples clothing shops. The Island has actual gamemodes, like bug catching and balloon popping competitions.

Either I'm bad at catching beetles, or I'm not patient enough. But I'm not making much money from them. This reset center is a pain in the ass to develop.

Beetles are easy. Make sure you're sneaking, or w/e it's called, and they won't fly away.
