There is a [I]lot[/I] more to spend your money on this time around, believe me. Edit: For example, I just started the public works project for a cobblestone bridge... The price tag is 128,000!

I won't get it until my little brother finishes classes. I'll keep playing Wild World until then, or if I am lucky, I'll win that raffle and save 45 euros and two weeks of time.

How are you guys getting those rare-ass beetles on the island? The only things I get are those stupid fruit beetles. Also, how the hell are you guys catching so many large fish?

Sharks are mostly luck though when coming across them, though they have a higher spawn chance on the island.

A bit of an exploit you can do if you'd like, but: Walk the entire length of your beach, and catch any sharks you find along the way (assuming it's late enough in the day for them to appear). Once you've done so, or if you hit the end of the beach without finding any sharks, press Start, then Save and Continue. It'll pop you onto a save screen, then bring you back into the game. When you're back, all of the fish on the beach are reset. Repeat this until you've got an inventory full of sharks, or whatever you want to catch. Only took about 20 mins or so for me to fill up on sharks a day or two back.

Get game a day early, having a good first day with New Leaf and done pretty much everything available for the moment, paid for my house and accumulated a fair bit of money. Then I accidentally sold my bug net and there's a bug catching contest on Saturday. Would anyone mind selling a new one to me? I'm willing to pay the 500 bells. Added my friend code information to the spreadsheet
