Animal Crossing Megathread - Games

if it wasn't for animal crossing, i might have never discovered facepunch. did anyone else go to a forum called animal crossing community back in the day? it's kind of a dump now, but it was my first forum, so i have some light nostalgia for it. i keep it open in a tab, even though i never click it...

I'm pretty sure GameFAQs had, like, a list of seeders or something that everyone avoided. yes i used to visit GameFAQs don't judge

[I]dude[/I] on animal crossing community there was always talk of an infamous gang of seeders. like, they seemed like unassuming random people you you wifi with, then they would traipse right in and brick your town solid while you weren't looking. Been a fan since GC, too bad WW and CF were disappointing. Honestly though, New Leaf looks like it might even surpass the first. It's incredible.

I used to go on ACC a lot, but never even looked at the forums, I only ever used it to find patterns and town tunes, because I didn't know where else to get any good stuff.

CF was a disaster, though. Grass deterioration, poorly ported WW models, being unable to run without picking up tiles... I wonder how much they tested it.

The problem comes when you walk everywhere and your entire town becomes a giant dirt road. It also took forever for the grass to come back.
